Starting Hunting for a Better Place to Live
Starting hunting for a better place to live while I am over here in Singapore. I was hoping that I would be able to get back to the UK sooner rather than later, but that is not going to happen. The guy who runs the company on this side of the world got on the phone with the big boss back in London and told him that he needed me, so now I am his until further notice. I am thinking about investing in real estate here. That seems like a sure bet. I was talking a lady here, http://www.condogallery.com.sg/marine-blue/ . She was trying to sell me the nicest place that they had at that Marine Blue building, but after a bit she started to probe me to see if I was interested in investing. It is something I would definitely consider if the right people were involved. Obviously I would want to get in with people who did not need me to babysit them and who could make me money without having to worry that they would back door me.
I have really not been very sure of what I can get here just yet. Since starting the hunt for a better place to live I have figured out that my expectations are not what my budget can afford. At first I thought the places I were seeing were very high priced for what they were, but in fact the truth seems to be that your money just does not get you a lot of room to live in this tiny country. If you were a short distance away in Malaysia or Indonesia, then you could find something dirt cheap, but this is where the people are and they have a lot of money, but there is very little land.
